This year marks 15 years since I founded Pension Structures, and it’s a milestone I’m incredibly proud of.
When I started the business back in 2011, my goal was simple: to create a financial planning business for people, families and companies who wanted to take control of their financial future. Whether that meant helping someone plan for retirement, supporting parents in building financial security for their children or helping business owners put proper pension structures in place for their employees. I wanted clients to feel comfortable asking questions, understood when making important financial decisions, and supported in planning for the future.
Having worked in the industry since 1996, I had seen how confusing and overwhelming financial planning could sometimes feel for people. I believed there was a better way to deliver advice, built around personal relationships, trust and long-term support.
Fifteen years later, I’m proud to say those values still guide everything we do at Pension Structures.
Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of working with individuals planning for retirement, families building education and savings funds for their children, high net worth clients looking to protect and grow their wealth and SMEs developing pension and employee benefit solutions for their teams.
Every client’s situation is different, which is why we’ve always taken the time to understand what matters most to the people we work with. Financial planning should never feel like a ‘one size fits all’ process. It has to be customised.
Today, Pension Structures supports clients across a wide range of areas including retirement planning, self-employment pensions, group pension schemes, employee benefits consultancy, investment and wealth planning, savings, financial protection and fee based financial advice.
One of the things I’m most proud of over the last 15 years is how the business and team have grown through client trust and referrals. Many of our clients have been with us since inception and continue to introduce friends and family members to the business. That trust means a huge amount to us.
It’s also been fantastic to continue growing the team in recent years, enabling us to take on more clients in need of support.
As part of our 15 year celebrations, we are delighted to sponsor The Pension Structures Irish EBF Maiden at 5.40pm on the 3rd June at the Curragh racecourse as part of their ‘June Fest’ racing festival.
While reaching 15 years in business is a special milestone, we remain firmly focused on the future.
More people than ever are recognising the importance of planning ahead and putting the right structures in place to protect themselves and their families financially.
Our commitment remains the same as it was in 2011: to provide trusted advice, personalised service, and long-term support to every client we work with.
